      Toddler-PreS-Like many of us, young children often give up when trying to do something new or challenging. Lamb and chick are two friends who want to go out and play when the sun comes out after a rainstorm. Lamb struggles putting on his boots. Chick encourages Lamb to "keep trying." Each character faces obstacles and overcomes them through perseverance. Lamb and chick are cute characters. VERDICT Though a bit message driven this title this title will serve as a useful read for adults helping children learn how to overcome challenges.-John Scott
